Meeting Registration

Advance registration is required for this conference. Please complete the online registration form or download and print the PDF form and return it to the CRS office no later than September 5th.  Your pre-registration helps us to properly plan so you have an enjoyable evening.  Annual CRS dues includes attendance at the dinner meetings. Therefore, there is no charge for members in good standing.

For non-members and guests, the registration fee is $75. Residents & fellows in training are not charged a registration fee, but advance registration is still required.

  • Parking – We recommend parking in the Rosemont convention center  garage which is located just west of River Rd. Turn west on Williams Street which runs between the Doubletree Hotel and the Embassy Suites. The cost is $15.
  • CTA – The CTA Blue Line (to O'Hare) has a stop in Rosemont only about two blocks away from the convention center.

Educational Items and CME Credit

Target Audience: Practicing rheumatologists, rheumatology fellows and interested professionals

Objectives:  At the conclusion of this program, the participant should be able to:

1. Discuss how microbiome affects treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and current research in this area.

2. List the key factors in deciding whether a biosimilar is appropriate for treating inflammatory diseases.

3. Describe the impact of health care reform at the federal level on management of rheumatology patients.

4. Explain new therapies available for treatment of giant cell arthritis.

Conference participants are asked to turn in their CME attendance form and evaluation form before leaving the meeting.  A CME credit certificate will be mailed following the conference.  Fellows also must return the attendance form in order to be marked "present."  Thank you for your assistance in this important activity.

CME - This activity is planned and implemented by Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology (IAO) and the Chicago Rheumatism Society. IAO is accredited by the Indiana State Medical Association to provide continuing education for physicians.
